Cedar Rail Court has 100 apartments contained in three stories. It has a lobby atrium area with lounges on each floor, a large community room, an activity room with a pool table, exercise room, library, computer room, clinic, beauty salon and small convenience store. There is also a formal dining room and kitchen hosting many social events. There are several private courtyards, one with a waterfall, which afford relaxed summer enjoyment.
Parkview Apartments has 97 apartments in six stories. Each apartment is a short distance to the elevators. At the end of each floor you will find a social room, that may be used as a lounge, library, chapel, exercise room or computer room.
A large community room, sun space, pool room, clinic, convenience store and beauty salon are on the first floor. The sun space is a wonderful place in either summer or winter. In the winter it is especially
nice so that you can enjoy a "Florida atmosphere" in wonderful Wisconsin. At Christmas time you can enjoy the beautifully lighted trees and lamp posts or the soft snow flakes filtering down from a warm environment.
In summer, the grounds have some of the most beautiful gardens in the city. Still like to garden? There is a garden for residents to plant their favorite veggies. The entire building becomes your home!

Q. CAN I TOUR THE BUILDINGS AND SEE AN APARTMENT?
Yes! We are happy to show off our fine facilities. Just call ahead and set up an appointment. We encourage family members to come along, if they can.
Apartments have a kitchen with stove and refrigerator provided, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Storage areas vary with each building. You bring your cherished belongings and decorate the way you wish. Reserved parking or garages are also available.
Each resident is responsible for their own carpeting and drapes. This allows you to create your own decor according to your taste. You can even wallpaper, if you would like to.
There are a limited number of two bedroom units. Please inquire for current availability.
Q. WHAT ABOUT SECURITY?
Our buildings are locked 24 hours a day. An entry system in the lobby allows guests to call an apartment for entrance.
A high security lock system assures that keys can't be duplicated. Deadbolt locks secure each apartment. Each resident has a single key which will open the exterior doors, lobby-mailbox and apartment.

Q. ARE SERVICES PROVIDED?
We are committed to providing them!
Our services are part of what creates an environment for care-free, quality living in your retirement years. We have lots of social activities - parties, bus trips, movies, pot-lucks, craft groups, theater nights, drama groups, inter-generational activities, volunteer programs, pool leagues and much more are planned by our Resident Services Coordinator.
The services of our Geriatric Nurse are available in the areas of health promotion, health maintenance, maintenance of functional independent living, supportive home services, counseling in self-care of chronic problems and referral to medical facilities. Health care needs are coordinated with the resident's personal physician and community resources.
Physical therapy services are now available on-site.
Flu shots are given on site so that an extra trip to the Clinic is unnecessary. Medical education programs are provided by excellent medical specialists from the Marshfield Clinic.
Our walking program keeps residents physically fit.
There is an additional exercise program, twice weekly, designed to keep participants healthy and active.
Lunch is available for residents Monday thru Friday in the Community Room. These nutritious meals are provided by Wood County Department of Aging.
Drugs are delivered by local pharmacies.
If a person needs more services such as housekeeping or personal care, we can assist in facilitating extra help. We often meet with residents and their families to solve problems which may arise.
Q. WHAT IS THE COST OF RENT?
There are no entrance fees, endowments or income limits. Rents are affordable based on 30% of adjusted income. If you are higher income, rents are capped so that they are within market limits. At Parkview, all utilities are included. At Cedar Rail, a $28.00 per month deduction is made for the resident to pay their own electric bill.
Q. WHAT ABOUT MY ASSETS?
They're great! You worked hard for them! Only income from assets is used towards gross yearly income. Take a cruise and enjoy yourself...or you might need them for future medical costs.
